- Temple was inaugurated and Vigraha Prathishta (installation of idol) was done on May 13, 1999. A beautiful 5 1/2 ft. statue of Sri Sai Baba made out of the marble from Jaipur, Rajasthan was installed by Sri Sadguru Krishna Yaji of Surya Peetham, Garividi, Vijayanagaram.
- The Temple is built in an area of 8 acres. Temple measures about 200ft. x 80ft. and has a plinth area about 40,000sq.ft. The Gopuram (tower at the entrance of temple) stands to a height of 110ft. from ground, the tallest in India among the temples of Sai Baba. Main temple is on the first floor. Sai Baba appears to overlook the Steel plant and township. Darshan of Baba can be had from half a KM. distance from the road.
- The unique feature of the temple is, a beautiful, life sized wax statue of Sai Baba in a sitting posture inside a glass enclosure in a hall called Dwarkamai where in the Dwarkamai photo of Baba is also present. Temple premises has Gurusthan,located under neem tree on the back of temple and dhuni is located in the South east corner of the temple. The statues of Dattavatharalu namely, Sri Pada Srivallabha Swami, Narsimha Saraswathy, Akkalkot Maharaj and Manikya Prabhu are installed in small temples along with small temples with the staues of Krishna, Gayathri, Lakshmi, Vinayaka, Saraswathy on the first floor and Navagrahas (nine planets), Hanuman mandir in the ground floor. Temple is built in two floors with ground floor has a dais with photo of Puttaparthy Sai Baba and small statue of Sai Baba. This is used as a function hall for marriages and for temple functions with a capacity for about 1,000 people.
